looking for special olive green E 550 2012 (?)
My boss' car was flooded during Hurricane Harvey. It was a limited edition olive green (?) E 550 convertible, 2012. Looking for another one, supposedly only about 1k were made. Anyone know where to look? I've checked the dealer where he bought it, they were not very helpful, just wanted him to come in to get something else. He really wants this car.

its a 2012, isn't that a 2017ish color? Sorry for being so vague, no pics, most everything in the house was destroyed. Ive called the dealer, looking for the vin, waiting for a call back, but it was some limited color for the 2011-12 year, so Im being told. It's like a light olive green, almost army green/gray color.

I haven’t seen anything like that around but if he can’t find what he is looking for I have a 19,000 mile black/red 2013 E550 cabriolet I would sell. CPO unlimited mile warranty through January 2020. I’m in the Houston area but this car was high and dry in my garage during the storm.

2016 E400 Coupe (C207)
I know the color you're referring to; it is sometimes referred to as Olivine Green, other times Olivine Gray:
I searched high and low for it, all across the country, when I was shopping for my car. On a trip to New York, I visited Mercedes-Benz of Manhattan and explained what I was looking for. The salesperson said simply, "You're not going to find that". He was right; I didn't.

I don't believe the color on the coupe is the same. There were a limited number of special edition E550 convertibles produced in MY12. They all were equipped the same way in a color unique to that particular model. They were/are pretty hard to come by. I have an acquaintance that has one that he keeps in Fla. I'm not sure what the mileage is or if he would be willing to part with it. I'll ask to see if he has an interest and let you know. They are very attractive units.

Olivine Grey Metallic, color code 786. I believe it was also known as Stannite Gray Metallic (depending on model year).

That color, Olivine Grey, kicked off the A207 and C207 series with the 2011 Launch Edition. I still have mine.

I may have found what you are looking for. Hope this helps! It is an e350 though, not an e550.

Still looking? I realize this is an old post....

Will put this up for sale next month, April '23, when it comes out of storage.
