Is there a "hood star" that is compatible with a 2015 E550 Cab. Would like to replace the current flat emblem with the elevated star. Thanks

I'd like to do the same on my E400 coupe, but I also want to eliminate the stock grille with the enormous, ghetto-fabulous star in the middle of it. I wish I could find a plain, slatted grille without the star (similar to S-Class) and then add the traditional stand-up star to the hood. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a grille like that to fit my car.

Yes, I like the look of the star, but I have looked everywhere with -0- luck. The current flat enblem is held in place by 3 pins, I think the only way you could add the star is to remove it and drill a hole, but that is a bit extreme.
