2014 coupe hard seats

My '14 C207 seats seem to me to be extremely stiff and uncomfortable for this level of automobile. I know it's supposed to be more sporty than the sedan and even with the orthopedic adjustments for the bolsters, they feel like sitting on a board with a hand towel on it. Other cars I've had over the years I've been able to remove the seats and add padding under the cushion over the bottom springs to improve the feel. I know from poking around and looking under these seats that this should be possible. To my questions, has anyone removed these seats, is it just remove the 4 hold down bolts, then what about disconnecting the plugs in the seat frame. What electronic risks am I taking. Give me some feed back and thoughts.

E250 AMG Sport Convertible
To start with you will have the seatbelt pre-tensioners which are explosive connected to the seats. You need to disconnect the main battery in the car for at least 30 minutes before disconnecting these.

Do you have the AMG sport model or the SE? if the former you could look at the seats from the latter as I believe they are softer.
