Goal may be to force MB and others to manufacture all models in the U.S. MB currently manufactures the GLE SUV, GLS SUV, GLE Coupe, and the C-Class for the North American market in this country.

This is no place to discuss politics but I had to weigh in. ALL, I repeat ALL tariffs for every country should be eliminated nothing more than protectionism - no argument, no discussion.
