How to Update Navigation on 2011 E350 Cabriolet

I just purchased the new 2017 navigation upgrade and haven't a clue as to how to install it. Help!!

Ok, I was looking for a place to put the DVDs like my CLK but I discovered that the nav system just uses the regular DVD slots to update the internal storage. Got is done; it took a couple of hours for the update to complete.

couple hours to upgrade ? might hook up a trickle charger while it does it.....

Just upgraded my 2011 550 cab. Just put dvd into player and it loads itself. Mine took about 40 mins.paid $199 from mbusa.

2011 E550 Cab & 2015 ML400

I updated mine in the fall. Disk goes right in the front slot. Took like 1.5 hours.

I have 2017 navigation update (NTG4-212 System) bootleg DVDs that I can sell if anyone is interested. Confirmed to work on my 2011 E550. Says it works for 2012s as well. $30 shipped.
