I just purchased the new 2017 navigation upgrade and haven't a clue as to how to install it. Help!!

Ok, I was looking for a place to put the DVDs like my CLK but I discovered that the nav system just uses the regular DVD slots to update the internal storage. Got is done; it took a couple of hours for the update to complete.

Hello I have the same year and car as well.. Did you have to upgrade any previous versions before installing the 2017 version? I have had no upgrades since I got the car... Thanks

I updated mine in the fall. Disk goes right in the front slot. Took like 1.5 hours.

I have 2017 navigation update (NTG4-212 System) bootleg DVDs that I can sell if anyone is interested. Confirmed to work on my 2011 E550. Says it works for 2012s as well. $30 shipped.
