2012 E350 Coupe Sprint Booster Results!

So, I bought sprint booster for my car a few months back, and I am loving it. Completely changes the way that the car feels and shifts.
Today, I decided to do a 0-60 test to see how much it helped out, and I am very happy with the results. Some people say that it has done nothing, but every 0-60 test proves that wrong. So let's get into the results.

Stock: 0-60 in 5.5 seconds

W/ Sprint Booster: 0-60 in 5 seconds flat.

What do you guys think?

I installed a Sprint Booster on my CLA and it made a very significant difference in acceleration. While it does not ADD any power/torque, it does permit one to access the available power QUICKER. The CLA (MY 2014) had a significant "turbo lag" which just about disappeared with the Sprint Booster. I have not put one on my E400.

See it now

Exactly. I’ll gladly take half a second faster while having a ton of fun with it. I’m buying a 2013 E550 coupe soon and can’t wait to install it on that!

So just an update for anyone else who is looking at this.

Put in a custom cold air intake with a straight pipe and sprint booster.

Tonight I ran a 4.81 0-60 at sea level.

Note: This was in dyno mode with AC on.

How are you measuring this?
I'm assuming this is the E350 still? And if not, how do you manage to get traction with a E550 in DynoMode? Will this product help with that?
Also, where did you install a straight pipe?
So many questions...

Without full launch control, the car burned out until around 20-30 mph. Obviously this makes it have a faster 0-60 time. I took a video on my phone and imported the clip into my video editor, and trimmed it. This product simply makes the pedal more reactive and easier to press. I installed the straight pipe at a local shop,.

So, E350? Measured with your phone.

Where did you install a straight pipe on the vehicle?

Yes.

Straight pipe was done at a local shop in town, not a big store.

I will ask in a different way. What was the objective of this straight pipe?

Oh I see, haha. It was the resonator and muffler.

Ok, got ya...

So you removed both resonators and mufflers in favor of straight pipe.
Do you have pictures of this?

It’s crazy loud. Totally love it. When I get the 550 I’m doing the same thing + secondary cats.

On my 2010 E350, I installed the sprint booster (paid $289) plus a Stage 3 OBD2 tuner ($199) from Performance Chip Tuning. WOW, what an amazing difference. And then if you put the car in Sport mode, it’s unbelievable. I keep the sprint booster on Race7.

Before I added these, I got new spark plugs and coil packs, cleaned the MAF real good, got new air filters, got an oil change, did two rounds of Techron in the fuel system, got a new battery, changed all 4 rotors and pads, and had my transmission fully serviced. My car feels brand new.

Sprint Booster overall is such an amazing mod to have. I'm actually selling this and buying a newer E550 coupe and the sprint booster that I have is compatible with both 350 and 550. I'm also putting the Renntech ECU tune on it. I can't even imagine what it is going to be like.

Nope. Not for the E class under “W207”. They meant to list it as C207. https://www.sprintboosterusa.com/pro...ter-select-v3/

Edit: Sorry, I didn’t realize you sent the link to a 3rd party seller. I don’t know why they’re 10 dollars less, but I would personally never buy it from a 3rd party like this. Spending the 10 extra dollars and going through the official is well worth it In the case of warranties and guarantee.

At first glance, the website looked fishy to me, but it is legit.

A sprintbooster doesn't change change the actual performance of your engine/gearbox. It merely changes the distance your foot has to press down to get any given response. However, that means that it brings in the 'kick down' faster and it will also remove some turbo lag, thereby saving time.

I bought one for my 2014 CLA. I got it from a guy in Spain for $75 USD who was selling his CLA. It did take about 8 days to arrive, but it worked perfectly-- I left it on the CLA when I traded it for a BMW. If one is not opposed to buying a used one and saving $100-$200, check all the 'classified' sections on many Mercedes-Benz forums. (There have been some listed here on MBWorld.)
