Hey guys, i was looking to remove the chrome trim and have searched all through this forum seeing pics of guys that have done the same. However before removal, i inspected all pieces and my rear bumper trim is in a grove on the bumper. While the door trim looks to be just laying on top of the door. How have others handled the rear chrome trim in the groove? Paint it? Or fill in the groove?
Thanks for the reply Rick. Thats what im thinking, i may just want to wrap the trip in red. If i can find a Mars Red wrap match. Is this something people do themselves, or pay a professional?
I would think that doing the bumper strip is something you could do yourself. While a pro would do it faster and once-- you might need to do it twice before it's perfect. But you'd have plenty of material and maybe time.
