E350 AMG Sport coupe
BREAK DOWN... UPDATE..
.My 2014 E350 has broken down. I was in very heavy traffic for 2 hours, car cut out, wont start, all dashboard lights come on but the Traction Control warning comes on and states 'Innoperative'..
I'm stuck 70 miles from home..
Any suggestions would be appreciated..

Do you have tools and the skills to use them? It sounds electrical. It sounds (depleted) battery related. Check battery(ies) connections, disconnect and reconnect. If the battery(ies) is (are) the cause, and if it (they) is (are) depleted, the solution is to replace the battery(ies).

Traction control inoperative and run flat warnings then come on..

Mercedes have now had my car for 4 days.
They say the car needs the Central Control Unir replaced at a total cost of £970..
Mercedes have been contacted to contribute to the cost of repair but have refused.
Has anyone else had to get this done?

I didn't know it was an option to ask MB to contribute. I assumed after warranty you were sol. However, I would think that for certain things like that they should sell 'em at a reasonable price. Like if they advertised that expensive things that should last the life of the car are discounted or sold prorated based on miles/years then it would boost confidence? Prolly just boost the price of used cars, so never mind...
