Today I had a first with my car. I accelerated from a stop to around 3,000 RPMs. Then all of the sudden the RPMS drop to idle instantly. Instant check engine light and “Check operators manual” on the display. Put the car in neutral and it idled high (1,500 RPM). Cut the car off and back on and it ran fine. No issues. Check engine light indicated a vacuum leak. The car has a cold air intake, so could this be a mass air flow problem?
