Thanks
It is still not even that loud. When accelerating it is somewhat loud, you can absolutely hear it, but it is not obnoxious or anything. It has serious V8 deep sound. I cut off the mufflers (the big boxes close to the bumper) and straight piped it to the tips(10 inches or so), everything else is in place. For $150, try it. If you don't like ik put the mufflers back on and try removing the resonators. What sound are you looking for?

Thanks mate I will give it a shot.
Looking for good but peaceful sound on idle and deep V8 sound under acceleration. I kind of like it how it sounds now (stock mufflers, big resonator delete) but under acceleration is still has some sort of drone which should not be heard on V8 IMO.
I am a former Camaro owner, have had muffler delete and really liked the sound. I did regret the resonator delete on my SS because the sound become obnoxious. That's why I am struggling now - just want a good deep sound but not too loud.

I have a 2012 E550 cab and was hoping to delete the resonators. The cheapest price I found to cut out the resonators and weld in stainless straight tubes was $500, which I though was too much. I can get an x pipe for around $400, but my mechanic doesn't want to mess with installing it. All others will just tell me their hourly rate, but no idea how long it might take. This doesn't seem as easy as I though it might be.

Deleted main resonator last month and replaced with straight pipes at Mr. Muffler (Canada). Cost $200 + tax. worth it!

It cost me $350 CAD to get the bullets and big resonator deleted. IMO $500 is way too much
