275/35R18 on the rear

2014 e550 coupe with AMG wheels
Has as anybody tried this fitment for the rear tires? Did they rub and if so where, inside or outside?

Here is what I know so far...
Yes you can fit those to the stock AMG wheels

I had the stock setup, 255's, with 20mm spacers and they rubbed a tiny bit on the outside

Thinking 275's with 5mm spacers might be just right assuming they don't rub on the inside, anybody have any info that could help?

Thanks in advance!!

275s are too wide for an 8.5" wheel, though they will technically fit. They won't rub on the inside with or without a 5mm spacer, though. I'd suggest a 265 at the most, unless you get a wider wheel.

Thanks, this is the info I needed! I didn't realize they were 8.5, was assuming 9 since they came with 255s. Agreed, I'll go with 265 and a 10mm spacer instead.
