C207 Passenger Headrest
Long time reader... first time poster here...
I just purchased a 2016 E400 coupe and the car is freaking awesome!!!
Only one small issue with the vehicle that I can find. The passenger headrest is not moving up and down when the button is pushed or when the seat slides forward. You can hear the motor humming, it sounds normal, but nothing happens. Also, the headrest slides up and down freely like it is not locked into the motor assembly.
Anyone experience this issue before?
Thanks!

You can check it by removing seat back panel, see attachments.

I took the back of the seat off and found that the clip that attaches the headrest to the motor is broken. The car is under warranty, so no biggie! Thanks for the help!

They are great cars. I had a W204 C63 I bought in 2012, traded it 11 months later for a 2013 991S C2 kept that 2 years and never used it so sold it back to the dealer and bought the E400 coupe. Longest I have ever kept a car and does everything "ok". There are faster, prettier, better riding cars out there and whilst this doesn't top the list for any single element, it is an all rounder that suits me. Hope you are as satisfied as it am.
