Fuel Economy - Post your average

Commute is 24-27 miles depending on what route I take. Averaging 31 mpg
After nearly 4K miles averaging 24 mpg with city driving included.

I use AC and Heat as weather calls for it usually keeping temp at 70-72 deg F. I always keep a comfortable temp but I don’t blast the air.
My tires are inflated at right level and are the Michelin Primacy which do need to be changed next season. Not sure yet what I’ll change to although most in the forum go with Michelin Pilot Sport.
My engine air filters have been in the car since spring of last year so plan to change them in the spring. I doubt they are dirty given the mpg.
I have noticed two cruising speeds get excellent mpg, 45 mph and 70 mph. When I’m in between those two numbers or above or below the mpg doesn’t seem to be as good.

I get about 21 mpg...
All short trips (less than 5 miles)..3 times/week.
A/C blasts constantly (Florida)...I never turn it off.
93 octane Shell fuel
One minute warm up every start.
I rarely exceed 30mph.
60K miles on the car.
2013 E350 coupe.
best,
Mark
ps. I know that short trips are tough on the car, so I change all fluids every 6 months ( or 1500 miles). Probably overkill. Oh well.
I'm running ~54% Ethanol, which burns a lot more fuel per mile. I made an Excel sheet to calc how much alcohol to add per fill, what % alcohol it actually ends up being, and mileage per fill.
I'm either city or 80+mph so never ideal for mpg. I warm the car up for 10min in the am because I hate the cold. Tires are under inflated and I drive it pretty hard.

I kinda did a 1/4 mile, with my Dragy. Kinda meaning I wasn't trying to so I let off the gas just before the 10 sec mark, so I was decelerating from that point on. The Dragy actually recorded it so it's all I have. It read 12.19 @ 107.7. I can only guess what it could've been. If I hadn't let off 12.0 sec nets me 120. Based that alone I think it's worth at least 12.0?
My biggest issue is 0-60, which is usually 4.5, sometimes as low as 4.3. I just can't hook up to do any better.

Actual ~17 since I've been monitoring it (16.52 to 17.78 are the extremes). Trips average ~25 miles and usually most is freeway.
The gauge on the dash that gives instantaneous mpg (horizontal bar) usually hovers between 20 and >30. It seems to more or less avg ~24.
I had assumed it based this claimed mpg on injector pulse width, # of cycles, pressure, and the other injector stuff that goes on, because why wouldn't it? Well, maybe the math was too difficult, I dunno.
Instead, it seems to base it on Lambda, load and rpm. That would explain perfectly why it shows normal mpg for me. It may also explain why people with a tune might see a drop in mpg, but I doubt they actually lost any.
The moral of the story is I would check actual mpg over time and compare it to that gauge to see if they match. I'm sure they're roughly accurate, much closer than mine for sure, but you won't know until you check.

It would take me a month or more to accumulate 200 miles..so I calculated my own fuel economy ( utilizing my useless undergraduate mathematic degree from an Ivy League school).
20.7 mpg. I think.

ps my last vehicle (2005 MINI Cooper s) got about the same.
Early today I was able to properly scroll through my mpg setting.... though I don't know how I came upon this setting??
but the miles traveled are nearly exactly how many miles I've had the pleasure of driving the sweet car ( only about 100 miles/month..I guess, owned 15 months). And this is my only car!!...haha. I need to get out more.
