Buying a ‘11 E350 Cab with questions

First,

When I test drove the car I put the top down and the front wind deflector up. Everything worked fine until I got back to the dealer and tried to put the defectors down. The rear went down fine the front one remained up and the light on the switch wouldn’t go out no matter how many times I pushed it. I finally shut off the car and the defector went down (light still lit) but when I opened the door the defector went back up again? Am I missing something??

The climate control panel has bubbled up and I need to replace it. How hard is it and are there any instructions out there?

I need to replace the joystick center shaft. I already did it in my W212 sedan but is it different since the center console is different?

thanks!!

All should be addressed by dealer before purchase, no?

Yes but...

They will address them if I want but it will result in the price of the car going up and I wanna fix this stuff at my cost not at the dealer prices.

The deflector was the only thing that really concerned me, and I thought that it might be something that I didn’t understand since I’ve had Mercedes cabriolets and roadsters but not one with that option
