2012 E350 Cabriolet now SOLD to my son
Brake question answer for 2012 A207 E350 cabriolet
My E350 A207 2012 has the AMG sport suspension , brakes , AMG staggered wheel setup and AMG appearance option. there were questions about what brakes to get from the aftermarket.
The Powerstop K7760 EVO Z23 has front and rear rotors, carbon ceramic pads, front and rear wear sensor, and the locating springs and rubber parts that are needed for the install.
The rotors are cross drilled and slotted, zinc chromate coated and measure 322 in the front. Both front and rear rotors are ventilated as well.
Everything fit perfectly. My only issue in the job was that 3 of the old rotors were frozen to the hubs with rust and i had to use heat and a 2 lb hammer to get them of. There was even rust on the mounting surface of one of the wheels holding that to the hub.
BTW the little torx screws holding the rotors came off with zero issues and yes i removed them BEFORE the issues with getting the rotors off!
I used a drill and wire wheel to remove all the rust and sprayed a very light coat of silver VHT ( 2000 F ) ceramic paint to prevent future rust before reassembly. The lugs were also slightly rusty so i treated them to the same paint after the wire wheel treatment.
Everything looks brand new now and should stay that way. I bedded the pads per the Powerstop instructions and am very pleased with the performance of the brakes.
If any one wants pics, i can post them up.
Thanks,

WRC-LVR, I'd love to see the before/after pics if you have them. Or just the finished results. I am curious as to if you have any squeaking after the install or after a few hundred miles later.
Also, what you described is not uncommon from my experience. I have had that rotor sticking issue occur on past cars. Heat, Patience, & a hammer...

That was what i measured. . That is also what is stamped on the edge for the fronts. I did not measure the rears, though as I was too busy trying to get them off with heat and hammer
