I'm new to this forum. I have a 2011 E350 convertible. I loaded the trunk with luggage and moved the partition to make extra room. Easy enough. Now I want to lower it so I can lower the convertible top. I have read the owners manual and I am supposed to be able to pull the partition to get it to lower, but when I pull/push the partition, it doesn't budge. This is the first time I have raised it, which was easy. Am I doing something wrong? Please help.

It really is not clear. You don't move the entire box forward or back in a sliding manner. The forward most corner comes down and back. There is a rotation of the box that takes place as it goes forward or back. Just grab the forward edge and pull down and back.
