E450 Battery
We have a new MB 2021 E450 cabriolet. Nice car. The battery is in the trunk but there is what appears to be an odd shaped positive terminal with a slide cover under the hood. Is that what it is? If I want to attach a battery tender for long term storage do I connect to that positive terminal and then just attach to any bolt for the negative terminal?

Thank you. Helpful response but will I be OK to use a battery tender ( hooked up as your response showed) for a 6 month storage period? It's not a trickle charger. It detects discharge and turns on to recharge, then turns off. Will this work on m y E450?
