Windscreen water pump rusted out!
My windscreen water pump has rusted out as evidenced by dealer workshop photograph and immediate emptying of the reservoir onto the ground after filling.
have a replacement part, but haven't installed as yet. Easy or difficult task?

It was actually quite easy. Loosened passenger front t (RHD) wheel. Jacked up car.removed wheel. Removed front section of inner wheel arch trim. Found the rusty pump. Disconnected power and outlet pipe. Lifted out pump. Replaced it with the one previously purchased. Reconnected and refitted, etc. Took approximately 40 minutes.
