Hello, a week ago coming out of the garage the front wheels or axle made a buzzing sound when the steering wheel was turned. The car has been cold (not been driven for a week) although the temperature was pretty high, like 28 degrees celsius. Also, there were vibrations that i could feel through the steering wheel while the car was been held static with the wheel turned once to the left and even while going forward at slow speed. The buzzing was not present when the car was driven for a while (50kms) and started for a while. I checked the tire pressure, was corrected to 2.3bar but the buzzing appeared a few days later. Tires are for replacement due to wear but i don't think that's the issue. Has anyone encountered such a problem, or maybe has an idea what can be? (any opinion is welcome)
Update: not just in movement and steering wheel turned/locked. Turning on the car made a buzzing sound that could be easily distinguished in neutral/park and at lower speeds
Could it be something related to the power steering system? i had a w211 e350 that had low/leaked power steering fluid and would buzz when turning. Topped it off and it's been okay unless I go full lock
