A207 Grill Removal
Guys,
I just bought the new AMG style grille to replace the original (2011 A207 Cabriolet). I am having a significant time trying to remove the original. I cant seem to get the tabs to release. Can anybody help?!

A207 Grille and bumper cover removal
So I have a 2012 E350 cabrio with the AMG Sport package. Obviously, the many YouTube videos don't apply to my car. Any advice for removing the grille and bumper cover would be appreciated. Trying to remove the driver's side headlight to troubleshoot an intermittent problem. I fear it is the wire insulation breaking down inside the light assembly, but I gotta get to it to see. Many thanks!

i have a 2012 A207 and am looking for the same grill but i can only find ones that specify "facelift A207". would you mind me asking where you purchased yours? and is the side mirror lights an entire replacement or just the light/wiring upgrade?

2011 E550 Cabriolet
I've talked to two different body shops. One didn't even want to touch it and the other was about $500. Both mentioned it was a pain to remove the old grill. A shame, because I've long wanted something like this:

I liked my grille but hated the side markers. Bought the clear on ebay, so worth it. Of course you have to get the silver bulbs too, fyi anyone wanting to do the same or it'll be a clear lens with a orange yolk in the middle.
I like the orig grill, it's just dated now. Yours makes for an excellent upgrade. With that and how clean that car is you could probably tell people it's a '22
So you store it in a nitrogen tent and pull it out once every few years for a photoshoot or what? Mine is a '16 and white, but you can still see paint chips all over the front and chunks blown out of the grill like it was in a Mad Max movie. If it were black, well, I don't know how people can have black and expect it to look like yours for more than a week.
Looks like you have the good star too? I don't like the 2D shiny ones, I like the 3D, which came illuminated in my car so I unplugged it and now it's perfect.
