Rear windows
I have a 2016 e400 coupe. Are my rear windows supposed to have one-touch down AND up? The front windows have both but the rear windows currently only have on-touch for down, I have to hold the switch for up.
curious if that’s the way the car comes, or do I need to do a reset. I have recently replaced my battery but I don’t remember if I had one touch up before that! Thanks

Try this turn ignition on, lower the malfunctioning window(s) by pressing down on the switch, stop, then raise the window and keep the switch in the raised position for about 10 or so seconds.

I’ve done that, plus 2 or three other slightly different “fixes“ that I found on YouTube. I even brought it to my mechanic and he couldn’t do it.I’m starting to think that one-touch up is not offered on the rear windows. My mechanic had his computer hooked up to it for 45 minutes and couldn’t figure it out.I’m looking for a hard answer out there weather the rear windows should, or should not, work with one-touch while raising the window.

My 2010 is the same and it was explained to me at the dealership that it was designed to just go down automatically. Choke hazard for children could be the reason.
