I took possession of my 2014 E350 A207 Convertible.
Everything seems to work just fine, EXCEPT 1 thing:
The Drivers Seat doesn't Tilt forward with the Seat Adjuster Button. It only Tilts Backward. Very frustrating!
2 things: Do you know where the fuse box for the Drivers Power Seat is Located? Maybe just a bad fuse? (Although, I don't think so...)
Second, has anyone had this experience before? Can you offer me a possible problem / fix? Greatly appreciate it!
Switch (no dedicated fuse) – door control module (2 @ engine compartment) – seat control module (f116 @ interior fuse panel) you can remove fuses in an attempt to reset, also check connectors @ door control module (access shown in video). If all fails, switch may need replacement. Definitive diagnose have someone pull fault code(s) if reluctant to do so provide VIN I will post switch part # to shop.
Thanks for the helpful possible repairs.

I am bringing my car to my friend (of 35 years). He owns a repair shop. He has a Code Reader.
I really need to get this fixed. It is extremely uncomfortable leaning this far back.
Even if it can’t be fixed, I would love if there was some way the Drivers Seat could be Tilted Forward!
I have owned approximately 25 Mercedes Benz cars.
But I am always "shocked" by the parts prices. I know the cars cost a lot when new, but come on...
Maybe a Used: Left Hand Seat Adjustment A212 905 02 51 9107 Switch Block
(2014 MB E350 Cabrio. VIN# WDDKK5KF7EF266868
If anyone has one, or knows where I can get one, please let me know. Thanks

U can try to normalise the seat using Mercedes diagnostic software.
Independent with Xentry should be able to pull codes, check for software update, and reset. As I said, if reluctant to do so sure they do, search 2129050251.

I picked the car from my mechanic. He is extremely busy today. He didn’t have a lot of time to look into it. The only he did was disconnect & clean the connections under the drivers seat. Now, the seat goes forward, but STOPS before it should. The passenger seat goes much further. I will bring the car back tomorrow, when he has more time. Any ideas, now that we know it’s not the motor or the switch. (I think)
The iCarsoft MB - there is an MBII but think there may now be an MBIII - range of diagnostic tools will show fault codes and has a great many people happy with it. About £136 in UK, probably about the same is $. If the car is a keeper then investing in one may make monetary sense.
So here is what has happened to my cars drivers seat…
Not the Switch, not the Motor, not the Relays, etc.
I removed the back of the seat. Looked inside. I saw the “gear” that goes right to left, across the seat has splines on either end. The Splines are not in line with each other. That’s why the drivers seat only goes up & down 70%. The passenger seat goes all the down almost to the backseat & up almost to the dashboard. A little crazy, huh?
