Gear ratio after tire change

Greetings, I want to know if I should change gear ratio after increasing my tire diameter for 1.6%. Going from 235/45-17 to 275/40-17

By this , you mean change speedo drive gear to compensate for the larger tire size?? Does your car even have one?

Depends on the tire circumference difference of the original and replacement tires. Might be so small that the speed differential we be minor.

looking up the speed change from your old to new size at 65mph...the speed is actually 65.86. Pretty negligible imo.
