2011 Strange Starting Issue
I have a 2011 with 80k with new battery. Occasionally when I turn the key fob nothing happens. I can take the fob out, stick it back in and it starts. Yesterday I had the same issue but tried several times and nothing happened. I checked the battery voltage - 12.3/12.4. Went back and inserted the key and it started right up. I have two FOBs with new batteries. Any thoughts on this one? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Yea I have the same issue with mine. its an intermittent problem that pops up for me whenever I replace the battery on my key fob. it happens on and off for the first 2-3 weeks when the battery in the fob is new. I think it has something to do with the ignition control switch, Here's a video that explains how the system works.
My issue seems to resolve itself over time then works fine for for years until I replace the fob battery again. Maybe the signal strength for the key is a bit to high at times? not really sure why it does that. Just keep taking the key out and and putting it back in. Most I've ever waited for it to work was maybe 15 attempts..
