Changing main battery and small battery reference
Are there any problems changing the main battery on a 2015 A207. The reason I ask is that on Jaguar XFs between 2012 and 2016 disconnecting the main battery can cause central locking plus other things to stop working. Jaguar issued a Technical Service Bulletin on this and their solution is to change two programmable junction (fuse) boxes and reprogram them......at a cost in excess of £1,500!......garages with Autologic diagnostic software can reprogram them and charge £100 maximum. Hence wanting to be sure that there can be no nasty surprises disconnecting the MB battery.
