2010 e350 Coupe Seat Repair

I moved out to the desert and lo and behold my seat became try and now I have rips in the driver seat.

All other seats have barely been sat in and still look good.

I did a vin decode and it shows I have 208A LEATHER - GRAY seats.

They are perforated in areas for the cooling effect.

Any tips on how to get the seat repaired/replaced/reupholstered? What price ranges and options do I have?

MB replacement part # 2079102746 to shop new/used but need to go a step further for correct color code whether it be replacement or reupholstered, provide VIN.

thankyou. Seems quite pricey $1500 plus delivery and then i need to find someone to install. Would probably take a few months to do.

Any alternative suggestions?

Local upholstery prices are crazy where i live. other cities including LA are about 40% of the price. Out here you are charged double just for everything if you drive a VIP car.

I found a few places with the entire seat in good condition. However shipping is over $500. I was wondering if they just sent the parts of the seat i needed, how complicated it would be to put those in.

I got a quote for $200 to swap the entire seat out. What if i just wanted to swap the the back part where my rips are?
