Signal source when adding a sub and amp
Hi all,
I just joined here today as last month I picked up a 2009 E350CDI coupe to use as my daily. I've had a few bits done and done some myself but this weekends project is the audio.
My car has Comand NTG4.0 but not the Logic 7 audio and I've just bought a sub and amp to fit but am wondering where to get a signal from?
As I don't have Logic 7 will I still have the centre sub speaker on my rear shelf, and is this the best place to tap into to get a high level signal source?
If so how do I get access to the wiring? Do I need to remove the shelf somehow, or is there a loom behind a c-pillar I can access easier? If so which colour wires do am I looking for?
