Blind Spot Monitoring Lights Stay On

I was wondering if anyone has experienced and has a solution for when both "blind spot monitoring lights" come on and stay on in the rearview mirrors? I can scroll through the screen to disengage the entire blind spot monitoring system, which does indeed turn the lights off, but when I re-engage the system both lights are back on. I find this to be a useful feature and hope there is a not too expensive solution available.
Thanks in advance for your replies.

So...the blind spot indicators never turn off?
I thought I had a similar issue at first. My driveway is rather twisty and wooded. My indicators would illuminate and stay illuminated until i cleared the neighborhood with its narrow tree lined streets. Once I got into the "open" the indicators would turn off.
I really don't have an answer if your monitor never shuts off.

2021 c300 Cab. Arrived 7/28/21 . 24 GLE 450e.
I test drove a 17 GLE years ago. At slow speeds the light stays on. You are describing normal behavior. The salesman didn’t know that. I eventually read it in the manual.
FROM A 2017 MANUAL.
When Blind Spot Assist is activated, indicator lamp : in the exterior mirrors lights up yellow at speeds of up to 20 mph (30 km/h). At speeds above 20 mph (30 km/h), the indicator lamp goes out and Blind Spot Assist is operational.

Speeds greater than 20 mph (30kmh) is the key. As konigstiger mentioned, take it to the dealer, or an indie with the diagnostics, to pull the codes if this is not the case for you.

I'm curious, what color is the light, and does that ever change?

They're amber from 0-20, then red when blindspot is occupied, per OM posted above.
