2015 E400 Coupe W207
Question What are my OEM Caliper Upgrade Options on E400 C207?

Have 2015 E400 Coupe - AMG Package

Question: From which MB cars can I source and upgrade my front and or rear calipers
a) That fits directly
b) that don't fit directly but have an adapter and it's worth it to try

My Searches led me to believe
- 344mm Rotors and Calipers from a W212 E500 (did they mean 550?) would work
- Brembo Aftermarket 380mm Front 6 Pot / 328mm Rear 4 Pot is an option but its not OEM

Any thoughts advice or help would be appreciated thanks!

Does your E400 lack stopping power?

Just purchased the rear calipers, rotors, and pads from a W204 C63 AMG (08-14) Non-performance package. This is a direct bolt-on for my E 550 Coupe. Not 100% sure but most likely it should be a direct bolt-on for the 400 as well.

Rears are plug and play, direct bolt-on. The fronts are a different story. I'm reading you need some special bracket, and these forum posts are a couple years old, so I don't even know if such brackets are still being made. My 550's front calipers are already very big... and I think the rear upgrade will suit the car nicely. I don't have an itch to upgrade the fronts yet. Just purchased the rears, don't have them on yet. I can report back after driving some miles with them. Hope this helps.

OP, before doing anything, you might want to upgrade the OEM pads to something with much better braking performance. that is IF you want to improve the braking. Other wise you are looking at $$$$ for a cosmetic look and feel good.

Thank you so much for taking the time to respond - I'm noting the parts you used! Good luck with the project, and hope those brakes meet your needs!

Both you and Big Mike62 make great points - what types of pads have you used and appreciated? I'm fairly new to the Benz Game with my C207.

Akebone carbon based pads, Also Powerstop Z23 evolution pads. I did the full upgrade rotors pads....Much improved stopping, brake modulation better, and Rust free !!!!,
