2010 E550 Coupe
HELP!!
Hey everyone, I’m new to the thread and was hoping someone could help me out as I’m making this post as a last hope. About a year ago I bought a 2010 e550 coupe (M273 5.5L) have been loving it but about a month or two in I was driving a bit ‘spirited’ and when I went to redline I felt a stutter and let off the gas after noticing a Check engine light appear. The same problem would occur after that whenever I would attempt to accelerate hard after about 4-5k RPM’s the car will start to lose its power, stutter, and then throw up a check engine light as it gets closer to having to shift, I will mention that it does shift to the next gear but barely. Another problem is that the check engine light will show up but then when I restart the car it disappears, there have also been instances where the car will be idiling and stutter and turn off. Over the course of the past year I’ve taken it to various mechanics and had spark plugs, coil packs injectors and fuel rail replaced along with a few other things. I took it to a Mercedes dealership and had them take a look at it aswell just to get charged $500 and have them tell me they couldn’t find it, recently I took it to another mechanic aswell and same thing.. paid $600 for him to tell me he notices the issues but can’t seem to find it. As a student working part time I only have so much money to be throwing down the drain and it really sucks that I’m paying so much for no definitive answer. I’m at a point now where I can either keep driving it until something breaks or have it sit at a mechanics racking up a bill I don’t want to be paying. Anything helps!! I hope someone can help me out

Something to consider. Although Service Campaign addresses 2011-2013 207, 2010 & 2011 have same fuel system control module. Reference SC to have MB dealer revisit their $500 at cost repair effort to check fuel pump CU software for update at no cost.
