Hi - I'm new here! I have a 2014 E220D and recently replaced the driver-side headlight after a smash. There was a fair bit of water that got in so the mechanic replaced all the wires back to the SAM and terminals into the SAM. The indicator and high-beam works on the new unit but no low-beam or DRL. The headlight tests fine but it seems the voltage is dropping when switching to the low beam. Other strange occurrences are that the passenger-side DRL and one of the tail lights comes on randomly when parked and locked at night.
Questions:
1. Other than a faulty SAM, anything else that might be causing the issues?
2. If having to replace the sam, I can't seem to track down another module with identical part number: (A2129006429). So do the part numbers need to match exactly or can we do a back-up and restore to another compatible SAM?
If it helps, VIN is WDD2073012F302887
Thanks in advance!
