I need to remove the partition behind the engine to get at the heater hoses closer to the firewall. Does anyone have a DIY procedure? Some other models have a removable section for access, but not the 207.
My leak appears to be coming from the piece that goes through the partition, so I'll have to disconnect from the other side to replace it.
Thank you

I recall reading W212AMG ppl removing that firewall with 2x 10mm screws to work on engine rear end (PCV , HPFP).
Removing this partition seems like a good move!!
Heater hose plastic adapter is subject to cracking.

Ended up pulling the cowl instead.. same as w204 procedure. I replaced the fitting that passes through the partition (which was leaking) but the BAD leak was the fitting on the back of the head that had separated. Had to remove the vac pump for that.Originally Posted by CaliBenzDriver
