Grinding on right turns? Only 17k miles
Hello, troubleshooting the parents’ 2017 E400 C207 coupe (RWD). Left side wheel well area produces a scraping/grinding/roaring noise under a right turn condition.
Sound increases in volume and intensity as the wheel is turned more to the right. Only occurs while rolling, turning the wheel while stationary (or turning left under any condition) does not produce the noise.

Hello I just wanted to conclude this thread in case anyone has the same problem and finds themselves here. The plastic fender liner access hatch for the headlight adjustment on the driver side had lost a securing tab and was touching the tire when the wheel was turned in. We replaced the fender liner and the noise ceased.
