Aircap Wind Deflector
Hello all - I think the time has come to fix my windshield wind deflector. It's the last thing that's broken on the car.
The light in the center console does not light up when I press the button, which makes me think that the fuse might be blown, but I tested the ones I thought might be the right ones and they all seemed fine. Does anyone know which one I need to check exactly?
If the actual deflector needs replacing, I understand that it's a $2000+ unit. Does anyone have the actual part number? I assume that I'd be best off finding it at a salvage yard somewhere - any other suggestions?

Not best, but riskier. It may seem cheaper, but you have no guarantees that it will last, although it may seem much cheaper. However, as these cars age, it may be your only option.

Were there any changes to that part through the production cycle for the A207? Or will any year fit?
I did read through that thread - couldn't find anything that looked like a part number in there either...
