stock 18 wheel fitment

Hey,

Been searching for wheels and learning lots from you all.

My 550 came with stock 18s, 235/40/18 and 255/35/18. I do not know the offset.
Wheels have some damage, so as time came for new tires so did my search for new wheels...

Budget isn't allowing for what I want and I stumbled across a set of nice condition stock wheels.
so back to the basics for me.
18 x 8.5 ET48

Just want to confirm that these will fit the 2010 C207 properly.
also, am I still limited to the 235 fronts and 255 rears, or can you put a 265s for the rears?

Thanks

Stock wheel size for the E550 with the tire sizes you have is:
Front: 18/J8 ET 45
Rear: 18/J8.5 ET 48

You should run the specs through a wheel configurator to confirm how much this may change (you can find them online) but I suspect they will be just fine.

I also suspect you can put 265 width tires on the rear but just be sure you aren't changing the diameter to the degree that your speedometer will be impacted.

Thanks for the info. Did some reading on the potential speedometer issue. Learning everyday.
Sounds like 18s should be 235/40 fronts 255/35 rears and 19s 245/35 fronts 265-275/30 rears.
