2013 E350 Cabriolet (A207)
AC cycles though every vent mode on startup

Hello, all. I've got an issue with my cabriolet (2013) that I can't seem to find any info on. From time to time (and becoming much more frequent), the air conditioning will cycle through all of its vent modes on startup. This is quite unpleasant as it moves air everywhere and changes the air pressure in the car. It will eventually land back on the last setting I had it at, which is all dash vents. The AC works perfectly fine otherwise. This happens if I turn 'Auto' mode off, and if I turn the whole system off and back on again. I've searched high and low but can't get any answers on this. I have no trouble codes and no flashing AC light on the control panel. I worry that this will wear out the actuators that move the vent doors behind the dash. Any help is greatly appreciated.
