Passenger seat won't move at all, short circuit

Now its easier to try to guess what these seat settings configure...
Because I couldn't find the meaning of LES, LNS, LS V/Z or LS H/T and didn't have much to lose with the old module, I decided I'd try desoldering all relays - my soldering iron isn't enough to work with chips. One of the big relays looked a tiny bit not too flat at the top so I thought I'd start with that one, however my soldering iron (or soldering skills) weren't enough even for that, so I removed (partly with plyers) the smaller relay first (short circuit still there), and the bigger one. And to my surprise the short circuit was gone.

Now the question is - can I connect the old module, back up its config, then connect the new one and restore the config onto it? Does Creader support this? And will the module be readable by Creader without the relays? Do you think I should connect motor connectors or just power/CAN?

good job on snapping the short-circuit.


Now you can swap modules and try saving the configuration.... nothing to loose:
  • Backup the old one : A
  • Backup the replacement : B
  • Restore A into B

didn't work seems like the Creader can only back up and restore variant coding, but not SCN coding

he can remotely SCN code your module, guaranteed.
