E550 has 189k on it and a rear cooling leak ...HELP

I have another situation that needs repair. I have a 2012 E550 Cabrio, and it is leaking fluid from the rear. I spent 7 hours changing spark plugs (NIGHTMARE) and getting to the rear heater hose behind the wipers that I saw had a hole in the plastic joint. Put the car back together, filled the car with coolant, and to my surprise it was leaking again. I changed the 2 rear hoses, and I suspect it is the cooling line that one of the hoses connects to but it seems to be behind a vacuum and I am looking to just remove it to access me cooling line pipe. My question is, is there any way to replace that pipe without having to remove the intake valve? could I simply remove the vacuum and go from there? Also are there any more parts back there that could leak? I am assuming this might be the problem, I cant see very well back there ........Thanks
Same happened to me - did the firewall fitting, then soon after, the fitting on the back of the head gave out. I replaced it without removing the intake. You have to go by feel, so it's helpful to study photos of that part of the engine (check Ebay listings with good pics of the engine or drivers side cyl head).
Fixed it! Total PITA! I had to use a mirror and take everything apart, minus the manifold. Heat shield, wipers, trick to doing it, is to unbolt the engine mounts and lift the motor from the bottom, so yes I used 2 floor jacks. Took me 2 days to do it because I decided to change the spark plugs too. NIGHTMARE!
