Dye Top?

Dye Top?
I am looking at replacing my E550 cab with a 10 year newer C300 cab. I found a black one with a red top. I hate the red top. Is there anyway to dye the red to top black?

Clearly personal preference. I happen to love the way the Red Top looks on something like that I would simply find a different car rather than do something that alters with a VIN says

2015 E400
Have you noticed the C300 feels narrower than the E550? Every time the dealer gives me a C-class loaner, I feel it's much tighter than my E400.

I dyed the top on one of my SL's that had a gray top and I wanted black. Leatherique made a dye for convertible tops, ( I'm not sure if they still do). The result was okay, but not great. Basically it was a ten footer, the closer you got the less I liked it.
