Hi everyone,
I loyally took care of a 2004 C230 for 15 years. She was running great until some nasty rust started to rear its ugly head.
I've been eyeing this generation of coupes as I thought of a potential succesor.
I believe I purchased this 2019 e450 coupe at the end of March of this year. Relatively low mileage at 65k km. In order, I've had the following work completed:
Tints
Bottle cap resonators
Staggered wheel setup 245/35r20 275/30r20 on Continental extremecontact 2s
3 stage paint correction
Aftermarket Panamericana grille
Hood repainted
Ceramic coated
I think I'm done with any upgrades or mods for the time being. I love how she looks now and I think I've addressed all the little bits that were bugging me. I'm not 100% about the exhaust but it can be reversed or changed.
I'm going to focus on leveraging the forum to proactively address any issues before they become larger problems.
Very Nice. I go back and forth on the front grill. I wish it were easier to change. I like the Panamera grill, and also like the AMG styling grill... would love to hear what you did with the exhaust. Im not really motivated to start cutting mine up, i feel too old for that, but i do wish it had some burbles and pops in Sport+

I had the mufflers removed and replaced them with 2 bottle resonators. It makes cold starts a bit more exciting, I felt it was a bit too civilized considering the engine. I kept the mufflers and it can be reversed at little cost. No droning, a nice tone and fades off when you're not on the throttle. I love sport and sport+ but I live in downtown Toronto. The revs hold too high for spirited driving when traffic dictates stop and go traffic. Luckily, I golf every Saturday so it's nice to hit some country roads.

Thanks! The dull silver calipers kind of bug me but I've been in and out of shops for the last couple of weeks, I want to enjoy the car for a while I mull it over. Ah haha yes I can totally understand that, I am from Ottawa but I did live in Toronto for a while and I understand your frustration, I can relate too.
I also agree waiting sometimes kills : ( It is like ordering some gift from overseas and constantly tracking it every minute or ordering a new car and tracking it from production to delivery.
