Introduce yourselves
Now you all have your own section you can come out of hiding from the 207 section and introduce yourselves.
I'm just an interloper as I do have a 207, I just worked with the admins to get this section set up for you all as it was starting to get confusing over who was talking about which platform.
Good luck in your new home everyone
regards,
Stu

C238 E220D 4Matic
Hi, I have a 2018 E220D 4Matic Coupe in Obsidian Black, Black leather and Black ash trim. its got the night pack, premium plus pack and driver assistance pack, I love it when it changes lanes by itself on the motorway.
I live in the north west of the UK. My coupe is the 2019 model year. I had a E220D coupe 2017 model year and it was a lemon.
I love the 2019 model, everything works spot on.
The only problem so far was a puncture at 500 miles, had to get a new tyre.
Ouch
I like to keep it clean

On your UK model, it looks like you have 20 inch wheels package.
How is the ride?
I am considering going from the 19 inch AMG to 20 inch wheel.
What are the wheel and tire sizes?
THanks

There are 245/35/20 on the front and 275/30/20 on the back. Michelin Sport Pilot 3
The ride is excellent, much better than the 19 inch on my previous C238, not sure if its all due to the tyres or that my new one is the 4Matic.

Good Day All-
I hope you are well.
We are getting ready to order an E450 cabriolet 4matic very soon. It seems like our biggest issue is agreeing on the color and interior. I think we are leaning towards the Designo white but my son keeps pushing for black. We are in SE Michigan.
Best regards, Tony

2019 E450 Coupe
Put deposit down on 2019 E450, waiting for recall to be addressed
We just put down a deposit on a 2019 Lunar Blue/Saddle brown E450 coupe.
The dealer tells us they can't release the car until a recall with the seat belts is addressed; they haven't given us any time estimate. As far as I can tell, Mercedes-Benz hasn't even released a fix yet.

Has anyone with a 2019 received any updates on this recall?

From what I understood about this issue from a discussion elsewhere on the forum, this only affected a very small number of cars built during a specific period. As such, I would think the solution to the problem should be very simple: replace the offending part with whatever was used on cars before and after said period.
I may be way off here, and hopefully another member can chime in with something more helpful.

Hi, what do you think of my 2018 C238
Hi everyone,
Heres my 2018 E class coupe, hope you like it.
Ive made a few slight changes but let me know what you guys think or if you have any questions
Gloss black panamericana grill, don’t mind the tinsel in the window 🤦
Tinted rear lights
Starlit roof liner, was a pain to do but I love the payoff ⭐️

2019 E450 Cabrio
Word
Hi, I'm the new guy. I've been a BMW customer my entire adult life, and I just bought a 2019 E450 Cabriolet. I love it. I walked in the dealership ready to get an E63S over an M5, and I saw this Cabrio on the showroom floor and I was like... gimme.
Just my opinion - I didn't think the E63S was worth $45k more than the E450. I'm very impressed with the power I get and how smooth it is. Plenty of juice for I-95!

E400 Coupe 2018
Hi. Amazing Car and Rims!
Hi tonynufc
I just got a deal at my local MB here in Mexico, and I got a 2018 E400 Coupe 4Matic, but the rims are an 18inch AMG 5 Spoke, and I saw your post and I truly loved your rims but in my city the streets are not as good as US or UK or Europe, so I Was wondering if you could tell me how those 20Inch Rims have worked for you because I'm thinking between the 20inch multispoke like yours or the 19inch AMG twin 5Spoke.
Thank you for your time!!
(At the bottom I Posted the pic of my car) very excited with it!!

Almost there with the car ...
Hi all,
Having put down a deposit on a mid-2019 E220d Cabriolet AMG Line, Silver / Black, all digital display version here in Portugal where I now live, it seems I'm going to have to wait a while to get the actual car what with the global pandemic shutting most things down
I'm getting it from a local Mercedes dealer and it's a Mercedes approved car (Mercedes Select program?).. Comes with the factory warranty in place (part of the Select program I believe...) which is great. Really looking forward to driving it. Have driven a 2016 e-class coupe (pre-facelift) and really liked it. Everyone tells me how much better the latest version is ...
Yes, I'm impatient by nature. Hasn't stopped me downloading the YouTube reviews and the Manual and learning all about it in advance though...
It does have many options (as well as some I'm aware of that it doesn't like the air suspension and the panel of electric tricks above the light switch). All good by me, it's got the mains one I wanted). Only thing I'm unsure of at this point is whether it has Apple CarPlay. This would be a really great feature for me but the rest of the car is so good that I can't be too fussy Since I can't seem to find reference to it, if anyone happens to know if CarPlay is standard or can be easily fitted (i.e. not butchering the guts of the multimedia system), it would be great to know...
Thanks, Gary.
