What are your guys thoughts on the performance exhaust on the E53? I was watching a few youtube review videos in the UK on the E53 and 2019 C43 and the reviewer which compared two cars was pretty adamant that the sound with the performance exhaust on the C43 was much better than the E53 stock.
Debating on the option but its a 1k bump on price.

I didn’t press the issue but was told the same thing on HUD. I have HUD on my BMW and although neat, after a while I didn’t notice it and living in Florida you can’t see it with polarized sunglasses on.

2019 E450 Cabriolet, 2020 GLS450
i just ordered it because it was available last May when I confirmed the build. If I’d actually looked at it prior, I might have saved the $900

2019 AMG E53 Coupe
Iridum Silver Metallic
AMG Black Nappa Leather
Lighting Package
Parking Assistance Package
Heated AMG Nappa Leather Performance Steering Wheel
Driver Assistance Package
Heated and Ventilated Seats
Black Ash Wood Trim and Center Console
19” Twin 5 Spoke Wheels (RTE) with Black Accents and All Season Tires
Soft Close Doors
AMG Track Pace Application
I really like the Iridum Silver color, same as my C400. I really wanted the 20 inch multi spoke wheels with black accents, but didn’t want to deal with summer tires. There is no all season alternative in the correct size, at least not run flats. I originally had summer tires on the C400 and had to change them when the weather got cold. It wasn’t worth the hassle for me.

Beautiful order. That silver will look great -- really similar to my order. Im in Arizona so the 20" wheels and summer tires are no problem. I will see rain, but there aren't pot holes in the roads so no concern about ruining my rims. My opinion is the car really needs to be fully loaded. why pay all that money and stop short $7,500 and not get all the features? Doesnt make sense to me. The technology is really amazing. Think back to high school and what you car did and didn't have. What we have today is literally a James Bond car from 1985 -- without the missiles and self destruct. I didn't get the AMG Track Pace application, but I have a friend who is a NASCAR driver and trains at a track here in AZ and will take me out for pace runs when my car arrives(after 1000 miles). Will probably need new tires after a few trips to the track though.

Does anyone have an idea when the E53 Coupe and Cabrolet will be configurable on the MBUSA website or when official final pricing will be released? I would that that with all these orders and cars arriving in the USA, it would be pretty soon.

You can get pricing from the dealer, base price for the Coupe is $72,900 and then all of the stuff you can add. I ordered mine late June and I am told that it will be here in mid to late November.

I have a good idea of the price. The last dealer order guide I’ve seen has the Coupé base price at $73,700. I’m sure the final price will be very close to that number, if not exact. My dealer thinks so too, but can’t commit officially until the final price is set by MB. I made the deal with this in mind. Right now, I have a November build date.

Can anyone with a new 2019 E Coupe answer this? One annoying thing I’ve seen with MB vehicles is that you have to hold the seat memory button as the seat moves into position. If you let go, the seat stops. On a test drive in an E450 Cabriolet, I pressed the seat memory button and released. The seat continued to move. Is this a new feature on all 2019s?

If the memory seats are now adjusted with a push and release of the button, I wonder what other hidden changes or improvements might be included with the 2019 Cabriolet/Coupé. Maybe the memory seat position is tied to the key being used or maybe even the remote start. Both would be nice additions. I look forward to hearing from new owners as these cars begin to be delivered.*

I just noticed that the 2019 C Class Coupe, Cabriolet and Sedan are now on the MBUSA website. As far as I can tell, they are the only 2019 models listed. The 2019 E Class Coupe and Cabriolet must be coming soon.

The good news is my car is now B3! Woot. Bad news: SR looking into MB Germany hints at a E53 AMG Cabriolet release date. Says he expects it to be December Noooooo! Anyone have any information about a release date for the E53AMG models? Also, how long does the car take from B3 to shipping?

What about the easy exit/enter feature? Does the seat move back when the car is turned off? On my C400, only the steering wheel moves, not he seat. I hope the seat will move also in the new E53.
