TSB
Help Please
My 2018 C238 has a noisy (clunks) right rear suspension. My dealer has looked at this a number of times and done some repair to the right quarter window regulator. Then clunk persists and is especially apparent over washboard road surfaces.
This month the technician looked again and now point to the right rear suspension and a no problem fix for $1000. No one has veered mentioned a TSB nor part changes MB has made to address this problem.
Mine is a CPO car with a 3 year CPO warranty. The TSB was issued when my car was certified- shouldn’t the dealer have corrected this issue.
Now I am told no warranties applies. It also appears the issue is the shock mount not the shock. Shouldn’t the CPO warranty cover the mount?
I am vexed by this and not wel educated in the workings of the warranty or how to proceed.
Your assistance please.

Dealer misdiagnosed previously, MB requires modified bushing be installed to remedy, and initial factory & CPO warranty covers bushings. Attached applicable bulletin. Discuss this with Service Manager if uncooperative escalate to MB.

it has taken a while, however, the service bulletin you identified was spot on! The shock related links and rattles are gone. I must have been attributing too much to road noise - the ride is markedly quieter and of course no clunks.
Thanks again for your direction.
