LIM message with no throttle / power
I was shuffling around vehicles in the garage yesterday and when pulling in the garage (with parking sensors alerting me) the car suddenly lost all throttle and I received the “LIM” message on the comand display. Shifting the transmission into park or reverse didn’t change it, so I restarted and it went away.
This morning I pulled the car out to pull our truck in and I briefly saw the message again.
I am looking through the manual now, but is this due to the parking sensors or a mechanical issue? I assume the “LIM” message indicates a “limp” or limited mode.
I’ve had the parking sensors go off many times and never had the message or lack of throttle.
thanks
OJ

You need to go to the Car and then Assistance menu and switch off the Park Assistant. This automatically stops the car movement to actively stop you driving into something.
