Looks like a a steering Recall
Might be getting a notice later this month on my 2019 E450 Cabriolet RWD, looks like the whole steering rack is replaced on this one, bummer, not sure if it's just specific build dates.November 29, 2018 NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 18V850000

Says rear wheel drive so I’m guessing 4matic aren’t affected?
Also so it says production on e450 cabs prior to October 1. It also says only 2 vehicles are affected. Mine was built June 22, 2018. I cannot possibly imagine mine was one of only two built in the entire USA between June 1 and October 1. Or maybe almost all are 4matics and there really only 2 RWD built between those dates (although that also seems a little hard to believe too)

Looks like I'll be getting a notice. My car was built Aug 8, 2018 and it is RWD. Oh well, will the car at the dealer they can fix my front facia, It's a little out of line with the fender after catching the front spoiler on a curb today, darn it. The front end of my car is so low with the Amg package. From now on I'll use the front camera parking and not drive over the curbs, I was not thinking.

I normally do use the cameras, I was in a rush as the office was closing and pulled into the spot too fast and over the curb. I realized it after and backed out slow but it caught. Had I had the air suspension I could have it the raise button and got out of that situation, but no air suspension on my car. I think I got lucky though, it does not look like too bad a fix. I've seen people tear the whole front off.
