We took a European Delivery in April. Absolutely the best way to pick up a new E450 Cabriolet. We spent almost two weeks driving through Germany, Austria, Italy, France, Switzerland and back to Germany.

This is interesting. I have a MY '18 E400 25th anniversary edition that is configured the same way as your car. Only difference is the wheels. The car came with staggered 19" wheels. Same colors and designo interior. So much for it being a "limited edition" as advertised by MB. Great looking car. But then again, I'm not exactly objective. Happy motoring!

Yup.
Picked mine up in Europe and drove the heck out of it.

Best car I've ever had.

I actually stumbled up on your video on a site before we went over to pick ours up. GREAT VIDEO by the way. We are hoping this COVID stuff goes away soon. We Have an aging 2008 R350 we want to replace and were looking forward to ordering an E Wagon in the future and picking it up in Sindelfingen. There are a few sights we missed on the last trip. HAPPY DRIVING!!!!!!

Kudzubob, thanks! It was a great time. I'm actually planning on sending it back to Europe in April 2022 and driving it around Europe for 6 months with my wife before sending it home again. I've discovered that it costs about $1,500 each way from Los Angeles to Germany, and that you can drive it for 6 months on a California license plate. $3,000 seems like not very much to pay for having a rental car like that for half a year over there...

I have never rented a car in Europe. By what I saw people driving over there it would be substantially smaller than your E Cab. Are you going to get someone to load the European maps into your navigation database and reload the U.S. info when your car arrives back in the states?
Who is responsible for making arraignments for customs? My luck the boat would sink...LOL
