Windsheild repair or replace? 19 E450cab
Good Day All-
I hope you are well.
Would appreciate your thoughts. I got a tiny, like a millimeter maybe chip from a little rock in my windshield. Should I go ahead and replace the windshield? This is what my insurance company said to do, only cost a $100. Or should I just live with it? Or should I try one of those fix it yourself kits? Or take it to a place that fixes chips?
As I said I would appreciate any thoughts on this. If there is another place that would be better to post this please let me know that too, I tend to just stay here.

I replaced like 3 windshields from my C class and another one just recently from my E class.
You chip is like a snowflake shape? if yes ... I will replace no doubt, if just a small dent, I will consider to wait until another bigger rock hits the windshield.
snowflake shape can get bigger with time.
PD: when MB replaces the glass, the order exactly the same as you have, with the same signature.

Some years ago I got a big chip in the windshield of a new 550 SL. Called a company named Safety Light (?? they advertise on TV) who repaired the chip to where it was not noticeable. I didn't want to replace the windshield because the car only had about 2000 miles on it. Never had another problem with the repair over the three years I owned the vehicle. They offer both in shop and on sight service, as I recall. Good luck!!
