bought it drove it returned it
here is the brief story decided to buy a cpo 2018 found 2 both loaded Decided to get the one within in 200 miles worried about the delivery process prior post. Anyway struck a deal they drove the car to me and were to drive back my trade. Within 15 seconds of pulling into my drive way i saw over spray on front bumper dent chips small but rusted thru on corners of hoods believe it or not a chip in driver side window filth floor mats and i swear a 10 in diameter black spot in rear of driver side of car where the yacht blue color seemed to have peeled off. I promptly laugh in the salesman face and said no thanks so much for 165 point inspection and the sales guy and sales manager inspection of car. so whats a guy to do. The dealer who tried to screw me said he will give me 10% off there last 2019 with a list price of 82 grand nice color combo they are still 200 miles away. 50 miles away i found a 2019 in desingo white which is first choice with a dark red roof not sure about this, the car does not have the drive pilot option which i am not sure i would use anyway
1. So thoughts about having or not having the level 2 drive pilot option
2. is 11 grand more for a new 2019 over a cpo 2018 car make sense? most in the low 60's similar optioned
3. dark red on desingo white anyone seen it in person?
4, in buying a 2019 is there anything straight away i should look for in taking delivery of either car as both dealers are 1.5 to 3 hours away thanks all i really would like you to chime in so i can move forward

I dunno, the dark red roof would turn me off. I like my Yacht Blue roof and int with the white seats. Thats probably why they have it as a left over is the color combo. Where are you located? It really makes a difference, especially this time of year. In Florida they are gonna want top dollar for the Cabriolets as they are big sellers here, a lot of people want to be driving a convertible. I'd say if you could find a leftover 2019 Cabriolet up north, like say NY or New England and Flew in to pick it up you could probably get a really good deal on a 2019 leftover, I'd offer like 15 to 18 percent off window sticker. Worth a shot. I'm sure some dealers who are holding Cabriolets up north would be dying to get rid of the leftovers right now as otherwise the car could easily sit at the dealership until next Spring and then they'd the car would have even more depreciation, just a thought, I'll look for you on Auto Trader and see what I see and update this post here.
Updating, Something like this https://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-...ckType=listing Same combo as my car except 4 matic, warmth and comfort package, not sure if it's the digital gauge upgrade, if not the analog is ok, I like mine. But it is Distronic and that is a good option to have, especially in traffic and on the highway. My Sticker was around the same, heck maybe offer them 70 to 73K for the car, they might take it to get rid of the car, having a car like this in Jersey right now is a tough sell going into winter.

well i am on the east cost of florida took a look at all 2019 not many looks like 10% is going to be the best i can do or close to it i think i would like auto pilot but then might have to go to 2020 hmmm thanks for reply
