E450 Tire Wear - Pirelli Cintuarato P7
Looking for feedback for expected tire mileage life for the Pirelli Cintuarto P7 (RF) tires on a 2019 E450 Convertible (2WD)? Primarily non-aggressive city driving. Currently have 13,800 miles on new set. Rrear tires are below 2/32" with front tires below 4/32". Is this mileage typical? Planning to replace with exact same tire, as the ride and handling is great. Other suggestions on tire selection?

Real short tire life
I had a 14 E550 cabriolet. I got about 10,000 miles to the first pair of rear tires.
Here is how I did it.
Here is how I fixed it.
For your car think about...

Here is how I did it.
- There were a couple of places where I had to pull into 65MPH traffic with no on ramp and limited visibility.
- I would roll the power on while turning into the travel lane.
- The traction control did NOT appear to kick in.
- (But the tires were actually spinning a little. It was enough.)
Here is how I fixed it.
- I went to a sticky set of summer tires. (Michelin Pilot Super Sports)
- Trained my brain...
- Get the car moving, ease the throttle, turn, straighten out, back on the throttle.
For your car think about...
- Michelin Pilot Sport 4S (Summer tires. The car will slip and slide at the first snowflake.)
- Michelin Primacy 3 (All season. Maybe a bit better traction and feel than your P7s.)
