Interestingly they are not referring to that grille on the E53 as the "panamericana grille", they are referring to it (in the literature i have seen so far) as the "AMG-specific radiator grille with 12 vertical louvres"

Another video i watched said how the p/a grille actually comes down further - either way, it looks good.

It may have become hard to justify buying a clock face that took 12 volts and a digital input to move the hands.
Much easier just to put the time up on both screens.

Two possible reasons 1. Cost cutting(which was mentioned by the post above me. 2. IWC licensing ended. Since they can't include it on the AMG models they won't include it on the regular MB models. On top of that, the IWC branded one in AMG models is basically the regular MB ones with a different clockface and part number, same digital chip and clock. Not a real one and with no movement as expected, not even close.
